Park Here, NoLita
Pics of this “faux” park, set up in a NoLita event space (conveniently two blocks from my apartment) have been sitting on my camera since it opened a few weeks ago. I’ve been meaning to post them, but time escaped me, and what’s that rule about reporting the news after it happens? (The park was set to close last weekend.) Well, yay, Park Here pop-up park is staying open until February 13. Please go experience it and forget all about this blizzard business. Real leaves, special SAD-combating light bulbs, ponds, food vendors, a seesaw…you’ll be transported to a nice spring day in Central Park. Why didn’t someone think of this sooner?
